Description
30 second video “trailers” demonstrating the Experience being offered by a host on Airbnb’s Trips’ platform. Inspired by movie-style trailers, we wanted to give consumers a sneak peak of what an Airbnb Experience had to offer. In order to capture the immersive, authentic nature of each Experience, we filmed each trailer in a way that would make viewers feel as if they were there themselves, recording the experience firsthand. In order to capture the uniqueness of each Experience, we shot and edited each trailer so that the style and rhythm would mirror the character of the Experience. As the trailers were chiefly intended for consumption within the Airbnb App, we took a mobile-first approach and produced each as a vertical video.
