Write a short summary of what happens in the film

The film "Human Touch" is a moving and funny celebration of real human interactions that without the use of words emphasises the inborn human capacity to translate even the unspoken.

Facial expressions, gestures and little ticks always reveal a deeper meaning that only a human can translate. The film tackles the substitution of people with A.I. by highlighting their value: their emotions and their physical experience, a "human touch" that improves their translations.

Background:

Since 1999 Translated has been developing AI to support professional translators, with the goal of bringing together human creativity and artificial intelligence.

But with the rise of A.I.s, everyone is talking about advancements in technology right now– while humans are more underrated than ever before. For a brand that believes that no technology advances or matters without people, this was an alarming trend.

In this global scenario, the goal was to culturally shift the focus to people again with a global campaign that could present the use of human translators as the most impactful added value for a quality translation and regain the role of innovator and pioneer in the field of translation at a global scale.

Describe the Impact:

Human Touch premiered at the Digital Learning Week of Unesco held in Paris on 9/7, an event that gathered international policy-makers, practitioners, educators, private sector partners, researchers and development agencies to jointly respond to the new dynamics around digital innovation, and steer technology for education.

An unprecedented globally relevant audience that thanks to the empathy and the insightfulness of "Human Touch" helped Marco Trombetti, CEO of Translated, to shift the agenda towards the importance of the role of humans in generative A.I.

The film is currently running on social media in 10 different countries (U.S.A., France, U.K., UAE, Brazil, China, Japan, Italy, India, Germany) and has already generated more than 4,7 millions of reach, with coverage in all the world.

Please provide any cultural context that would help the jury understand any cultural, national or regional nuances applicable to this work e.g. local legislation, cultural norms, a national holiday or religious festival that may have a particular meaning.

The script has been culturally validated by the community of translators working for Translators from all over the world, in order to make the meaning of every sign, gesture or look true in more than 48 countries.
