The brief's main objective is to inspire young girls to practice sports. We were tasked with crafting an interesting, inspiring and fun campaign using the Sultans of the Net, the Turkish women's National Team, which were recently crowned European Champions.

They have been subjected to high scrutiny in their home country for what they represent: female empowerment, gender equality and progressive values. They have been withstanding attacks from one side and receiving undying love from the other. In the end they are still thriving and inspiring others, especially young women and girls as our target audience.

Our Creative idea consists in a campaign wherein the Turkish volleyball players break the rules during the match on purpose and get punished. This is to bring attention to the the fact that outside the sporting courts -in real life- somethings that "break the rules" aren't punished, namely gender-based discrimination which has been outlawed since the 1930s.

The target audience will be captivated through a campaign that takes them on an emotional journey with the players and ends with the possibility of them recreating the act of defiance themselves. This will empower them an inspire them to pursue sports.
