Background

The Turkish Volleyball Federation wants to encourage young girls to keep sporting. Many girls quit sports for various reasons. The brief is to create a campaign with the role models from the Sultans of the Net to inspire girls to keep in sports.

Campaign idea

To show little girls what they are capable of and for the world to get used to their names already, we launch Know Her Name. A campaign in which we introduce and celebrate the names of the next generation of women sporters, to keep them from quitting. How? By putting their names on the most important place, a player’s shirt.

We kick off the campaign during the Paris Olympics of 2024. In an important match, the Sultans of the Net will wear shirts showing the names of little girls instead of their own. After this kickoff, we send similar tenues to all-gender, famous athletes in various European countries. We ask them to wear these at important sports matches to reach the most PR. The names on the shirts differ per athlete and country to make sure we support as many girls as possible.

This idea has a huge PR value, which helps us reach the most impact. The shelf life of this campaign is endless, as we can extend it in many possible ways. And it also easily crosses borders since it's adaptable to every country. Even beyond Europe.
