Background

When It comes to sports, most girls seem to lack interest.

And that’s strongly because they don’t think they’ll be good enough at it.

More than making them believe sports is for them, we wanted to make them believe that they can be very good at it too.

Campaign idea

In the year of the 2024 olympics, we’ll be unexpectedly announcing the 2032 olympics.

An event where the athletes will be today’s pre-teens and teens.

Presenting STEP UP TO BRISBANE 2032

An app that uses the biometric data from the girls smartphones/smartwatches to count their steps on an app, a sign of a healthy and sporty life.

The goal is to complete the entire steps wheel over 8 years, until Brisbane 2032, what will symbolically mean completing a daily average of 11,500 daily steps*. The app will have annual goals, which, when met, will give access to tickets to attend sporting events.

The campaign will impact girls in billboard formats located near schools and sport academies, and PR. The promo for the Step up Brisbane App will also happen on the digital channels.

Finally, we’ll create a “Brisbane 2032” kit merchandise, to empower the girls to practice sports with a goal in mind.
