Background

The brief is to create an inspirational integrated campaign with the Turkish women's volleyball team, ‘Sultans of the Net’, at its core, that increases women’s participation in sport.

We aim to make the team into the heroes young girls look at for inspiration no matter what sport they partake in. Because beyond the lines of the court and the rules of the sport, there is something bigger. The pure love for the game.

Campaign idea

Our idea is to smash social prejudice and biases by showing girls the strength of the Turkish team, which constantly has to fight for the right to be who they are. The entire campaign takes off with a PR stunt that takes place during the 2024 Summer Olympics, where we, in front of the eyes of the world, state facts that we can't shy away from any longer.

As we have the world's attention, we start talking about the fight for girls in sports that we are taking to make sure more teenagers and young girls dare to fall in love with sports again.

Because to inspire, someone needs to be the hero - and who can do it better than the sultans of the net?
