Wombstories is the distillation of hundreds of real metaphorical descriptions of life with a womb. And bringing to life wombstories has meant navigating several challenges.

While it touched on specific yet wildly different experiences like endometriosis, menopause, miscarriage, IVF, and childfree by choice, the overall experience had to feel like a universal story that everyone with a womb would recognise. Within that challenge we had to take wildly different animations, integrating them into a coherent whole. All the while navigating six primary storylines that alternated between live action and animation. And making sure we did it with the sensitivity these raw subjects required and that the story arc balanced itself between laughter and tears. Leaving you feeling overwhelmed and understood.

Woven together by an all-female team of creators, each wombworld viscerally brings to life a personality and detailed organic interior that matches the person in the real world.
