JOHNSON & JOHNSON

It’s not easy for a 95-minute documentary to stand out in a category full of entertainment. It shows us what bravery is and gives real voices to those silent heroes, creating the kind of inspiration that endures for years to come.

SURVIVAL BILLBOARD

Maybe the most sadistic, dangerous and insane outdoor ad I’ve ever seen. It’s more than a billboard; it's a reality show of endurance. It showed how to reinvent traditional platforms, turning one of the oldest advertising channels into an entertainment platform. It was so bold and ingenious, I wish I had done it.

THE BEAUTY INSIDE

This is a beautiful love story, fuelled by sci-fi fantasy imagination. When people think about social content, it’s usually short and thin. Intel stood out by creating a Hollywood-style, Emmy Awards-standard series drama. It shows how to put brand value into our hearts in a new way, and welcomes everyone to be part of it.

DUNDEE: THE SON OF A LEGEND RETURNS HOME

This was an elaborate, brilliant fraud. It was just like watching an excellent magical show by almost every Australian star. Even though you know you’ve been duped and the new Crocodile Dundee film was actually a Tourism Australia ad, you still can’t stop laughing. The idea was just too funny.

3-SECOND COOKING ‘SHRIMP FRYING CANNON’ & ‘SUPER FRIED DUMPLING’

This may seem like a crazy cooking show, but it’s actually a mobile phone operator ad. It will blow your mind. Docomo showed how to mimic cultural content, taking the whacky, funny Japanese entertainment style to new heights.

LABEL OF LOVE

Excellent casting, beautiful song, adorable love story. It aimed right at your heart; you just can’t take your eyes off it. The most impressive part is how a grocery store can seamlessly integrate itself into the narrative without feeling bogus.
