KFC X Spotify

To show France how KFC had become part of pop culture over the decades, the fast food restaurant chain launched Bucket Bangers. This Spotify playlist listed songs that mentioned KFC, showing a novel way to present KFC as a unique brand.

Adoptify pairs dogs from Munich Animal Shelter with potential owners based on their mutual musical tastes. It was seeking a low-cost way to raise awareness: his work shows that a simple but unique insight can often be all that’s required to achieve that.

Playlist Timer

Pasta quickly became a staple meal during the lockdown, yet not everyone knew how long to cook it for. So Barilla teamed up with Spotify to create a series of playlists to help novice chefs. This is an innovative example of how a new approach to an established behaviour – listening to music while cooking – can start a new conversation, helping to make your brand relevant for a younger audience.

SICK BEATS

An airway clearance vest for cystic fibrosis sufferers used soundwave therapy via a Spotify partnership to make this mundane task more engaging for kids. It demonstrates how the Spotify platform can be applied to help solve very specific problems. It won Grands Prix in the Pharma Lions and the Radio & Audio Lions, as well as nine additional Lions.

David Bowie is Here

The David Bowie Is Here exhibition was placed at the heart of where Bowie lived in SoHo. It took over all of Broadway-Lafayette station, covering walls, billboards, digital ads, and used a Spotify partnership so that commuters could listen to relevant Bowie tracks. It shows how to use Spotify in the mix alongside a range of channels to enhance brand experience and drive impact.
