The Balkans are a region plagued by wars, where Christians and Muslims live close, but also divided.

One Christian priest and one Muslim miftar are set -in a joint temple- to jointly pray for peace in the country. This is unprecedented, as neither the Christian Orthodox Church, nor the Muslim Religious Community allows joint prayers.

By organizing the first ever joint prayer by Christians and Muslims, the goverment of Macedonia wants to show that tolerance is giving to every human being and is a right that you claim for yourself.
