To visualize the sheer amount of water released by such a rupture (and its destructiveness) we let water flow from several apartment buildings in busy downtown streets – in the form of giant printed textile sheets hanging from balconies and open windows combined with waterfall sounds. Small leaflets with the hotline number and a 10% discount coupon were distributed to passers-by.
Outcome
During the first weeks after the campaign, an average of 13 people in 24 hours called the new hotline number. What’s even more important: the conventional service of "Ott's Plumbing“ profited by the campaign as well: With 25% more jobs in the first two months.
