We stimulated road trips to those forgotten places in Colombia that can only be reached by car. The mayoralties from these places participated in our initiative giving all of their support and logistics. And most importantly Chevrolet became a promoter of the tourism economy from those forgotten places.
Outcome
500,000nentries to our website. 12,000 new Facebook fans.
Google is interested in our project, adding places like ARACATACA, the birthplace of the Nobel Prize in Literature winner Gabriel Garcia Marquez, to its list of cities like New York, Hong Kong and London in its Street View platform.
We had the highest number of entries to the Chevrolet garages during vacations and most importantly 40 completely forgotten places were remembered.
