This campaign was planned to launch the 4G LTE service of SK Telecom, which is the biggest mobile-communication service-provider in Korea. Over the last 28 years, from 1G (1st generation) to 3G (3rd generation), the company has been a pioneer in the mobile industry, having been the first to launch and commercialize CDMA, 3G CDMA, 3.5G HSDPA among other mobile services. They are now leading the way in 4G and beyond.
So, we made the Foursquare logo, which symbolize SK Telecom’s perfect 4G network prepared for 28 years. ‘Prepared 4G’, the slogan of this campaign, means that SK Telecom’s know-how of network technology is condensed into the 4G LTE service. ‘the logo’ , the first piece, expresses the process that the logo is formed in the mysterious universe. SK Telecom was the 22nd company in the world to launch 4G LTE service, but now it is the first company that has 1m subscribers only in 7 months in the world.
