Description

The “BE 7UP” campaign is a departure from 7UPs previous product focused campaigns, by celebrating those individuals who embrace doing things “their own way.” In this commercial, and with the help of Cee Lo Green, 7UP is harkening back to its roots of the 60s/70s when they were the “Uncola,” by following the various stages of Cee Lo’s life, and how 7UP played an influence on him – how it helped him develop into a true musician/singer. The original Uncola campaign put 7UP on the map, by challenging the cola giants and explaining that it’s ok to be different. It’s OK to be a clear Lemon Lime alternative in a world of dark colas. And once again, 7UP believes that now, more than ever, we should be unafraid to do things our own way; to challenge conventions, and be positively unconventional.
