Ad Guy 2 was used as a self-promotional tool as well as a festive greeting to our current clients. Ad Guy 2 is an online commercial in which children excitedly play with Production Ad Guy as he travels to Hollywood to create a television commercial. Which, of course, mostly involves hanging out at the pool and having late-night parties back at the hotel. Ad Guy 2 was sent to approximately 450 of Rodgers Townsend’s clients, vendors, industry allies and friends. To date, Ad Guy 2 has been seen by 15,370 unique viewers in 29 countries.
Outcome
The exercise was to be deemed successful if it reached a larger audience than we had initiated through our own direct email. Ad Guy was sent to approximately 450 of Rodgers Townsend’s clients, vendors, industry allies and friends. To date, Ad Guy has received 15,370 unique views in 29 countries, each one attracting a new viewer to our company’s website. And the first Ad Guy, sent as a holiday greeting in 2001, has been seen by 57,820 unique individuals.
