Philips Ambilight TV is about creating moments beyond the ordinary. AFTERGLOW is one of those moments. Philips TV has a technique called Ambilight which are small LED lights that projects light and color from the screen to the wall behind the TV. It gives the viewer a larger and richer TV- experience. We wanted to give people this Ambilight experience for real by adding light and color to something that already is cool and make it amazing. We chose to work with one of the best ski productions companies in the world and create a "glow in the dark" ski film never before seen. Shot in Alaska and British Columbia, with thousands and thousands of LED lights, a national governments worth of logistics, planning and civil engineering. Afterglow is being hailed across the globe as one of the most cinematically profound ski movies ever made – all inspired by the Ambilight technology from Philips TV.
