Background
When you book a holiday with Agoda, they make sure there’s no faffing about. Their website is simple, their rewards program is simple and they guarantee the best price on over 1.8 million properties, so you don’t have to waste time trawling the internet. They are the no-nonsense travel site. European Culture is an online animated film that’s part of the campaign to support Agoda’s no-nonsense positioning. Like their product, the campaign is simple, to the point and a little playful. In the fiercely competitive online travel arena, this will differentiate Agoda from the rest.
Execution
The animated online film ran throughout Asia, Australia, Canada, the US and South Africa and was created in collaboration with director and animator Julian Frost.
Each film demonstrates a different reason for travel and what could happen - going to see a temple and a monkey steals your camera; travelling to Europe with different cultural expectations; or tasting new food which can have interesting results.
