Execution

Build a “live size” aircraft with containers and strategically “plant” the fleet at the entrance of toll gate at KL International Airport where everyone who travels and potentially will travel can see. The 2-D billboard projects the front of the aircraft and “inside” view of the new airbus which is spacious and wider than the current aircrafts.

Outcome

2-D billboard was built with 6 empty containers, which is relatively cheap and easy to build. This structure projects bigness to the brand and expensive in image projection. Surprisingly, warm-welcome by all who commute to the airport and became a landmark for AirAsia’s first outdoor billboard.
