Execution

It’s a challenge to tell a story with this much acting depth and so few words.

The dialogue that was filmed is different from the original script. The director kept paring away to make the dialogue say a lot with the fewest words possible.

Every scene is shot with sparse but beautiful framing that builds the tension in the story. The director intentionally filmed each scene with more air to breathe (and feel) than you see with commercial films.

All of which leads to a terse and incredibly well-acted film, that makes the payoff harder-earned and more rewarding.
