Using the gloomy backdrop of an Indian prison, the spot aims to shed light on the atrocities committed against the women inmates by the so-called protectors of the law. This is a common occurrence in the jails of rural India but unfortunately is rarely brought to peoples’ attention given the inconsequential profile of the victim and the remoteness of the village or town in which it is committed.Amnesty International addresses this issue and invites people to write petitions as an effective way to put an end to such horrific crimes.
