Description

To make a campaign against illegal software copying for Microsoft.

Execution

We will catch pirates. We will use their own guns: illegal media, rough graphics, and warez website. Irony instead of software police.With the guerrilla campaign, with the help of illegal stickers and banners, we trapped everybody on our website.

www.DownloadandBurn.cz looked like a warez website, where you can download programs for free. We cancelled the download in the middle of action and said that piracy is illegal.Whoever got caught could trap his/her friend, too and the campaign was spread virally.

Outcome

40 000 pirates came to our website. They caught 1500 more people.Norway and Italy started to be interested in the Prague idea.The campaign was awarded a golden Effie.
