Description

We created an app that worked along the same lines as AirBnB. The difference is that instead of rooms, people put up their bathrooms for "rent." Users downloaded the app, where they could see the bathrooms that were registered for use, and just had to present a can of Antarctica beer by way of payment. The brand itself would compensate the bathroom owners.

Execution

The project was divided into two stages. First, online activations introduced the app and sought to get as many people registered as possible. During this phase, the tech and events teams worked in synergy so that both the virtual and real implementations would go smoothly. Once Carnival was in full swing, a third team went into action, working on social monitoring to make sure that the app was functioning effectively during the event.

Outcome

The app was downloaded thousands of times during Carnival, and, thanks to its implementation at strategically chosen parties, the bathrooms were used by more than 2,000 people, with 95% positive reviews. Another important point was that the authorities are interested in partnering to finance the project for next year's Carnival. Everyone at Cannes is invited, by the way. But just no peeing on the street, ok?
