Description

To “break through” the Christmas (advertising) crush, we had to somehow draw the focus to us, instead of our chasing the target group at the most chaotic time of the year.

We decided to “materialize” the benefits through an original environmental installation: a mobile ATM. We took the original Telenor Bank ATM and made an exact replica. Then we put it on wheels and placed our promoters inside.

Thus the first purely mobile bank got the best promoter: the first purely mobile ATM that could move through crowds and interact with people.

That helped us get attention and more effectively communicate all of the unique credit card’s benefits.

People directly experienced the feeling that the new Telenor Bank credit card came to them and put money at their disposal wherever they were. Thanks to the promoters inside the mobile ATM, the bank’s face was human and personal.

Execution

We chose the five biggest shopping malls in Serbia in the country’s three biggest cities and carried out the promotions there.

The mobile ATM attracted the attention of passers-by and interacted with them. That enabled us to inform them about the Telenor Bank credit card’s benefits in a more suggestive way.

Anyone interested could instantly register for a credit card at the Telenor offices in those shopping malls.

From December 9, 2015 to January 24, 2016 we had 38 promotional days (in Serbia, Christmas is celebrated on January 7).

During those promotions, the average audience was (according to the statistics delivered by the malls) around 1.100,000 people.

Outcome

During the 38 promotional days we accomplished 49,793 direct contacts and 5106 immediate new credit and debit card subscriptions.

MORE THAN 1.000,000 people saw our MOBILE ATM in action while 65,000 PEOPLE SAW IT ON TELENOR BANK’S FB PAGE with dozens of positive comments.
