Audi Italia has achieved the milestone of one and a half million Facebook fans, a result obtained just by posting contents about its values and its cars. To thank them, Audi Italia decided to produce a video with a different language and style from the authoritative and rigorous communication that is usually a distinctive feature of the brand.
Description
One and a half million Facebook fans deserve a big thank you. And Audi Italia does it with a film that speaks the language of the web, using it with irony to build a story around the thumbs up metaphor, which is both the ‘like’ icon, but also the universal hand signal used by hitchhikers.
Execution
A video devised to thank the million and a half fans of the Audi Italia Facebook page and build on the perfect fusion of two worlds, Mark Zuckerberg’s social network and the street. All thanks to an icon featured in both of them.
