Description

The task was to develop an interactive communication concept for a youth video and animation film contest with the objective of allowing young people to express their opinions about HIV and AIDS through their contribution.Youth in Austian middle and upper level schools are aware of the relevance of prevetion and integration concerning HIV and AIDS but they must be repeatedly reminded of this in a creative manner. A youth video and animation film contest with the support of the two Ministries offers the young people a chance to express their views on the subject in an unconventional manner.From October to November 2001 schools were made aware of the internet page by posters and by hand-outs.The creative basis of the Red Ribbon Award 2002 is : Criticise! Provoke! Discuss! Present!Target Groups: Youth at Austrian middle and upper level schools between 14 and 20 years old (high internet affinity and use).
