Special build structures were erected in areas most affected by the problem of violence against women. A woman's face was depicted on the structure. Over time, via a series of material changes, the woman's face became more and more bruised and audiences were told that unless they changed their beliefs and attitudes, the problem of violence against women would just get worse.
