OVERVIEW

Description

The microsite became the creative extension of the Bacardi Rigo TV commercial. The conceptional challenge was to keep/retain the particular atmosphere of the commercial in line with the opportunities and the restraints of the Internet. The microsite is split up into three areas: Drink, Play and Meet RIGO. Drink offers the user the possibility of exploring the features of the product by using the RIGO Cam or by switching on the light to highlight the label – similar to the fluorescent light used in the original. In the Play area the user can find not only RIGO Cards and the RIGO Gallery but also the showmaster. With this application the user can put together his own slideshow, select his own background music and save it locally for reuse. Further highlights include a highscore game which incorporates scenes from the commercial and stimulates playful engagement with the brand and its attributes. In the area Meet, the user discovers where the next RIGO event is taking place.
