Description

This film is a visual interpretation of a 90 year old poem written by the famous finnish-swedish author Edith Södergran. She was one of the first modernists within Swedish-language literature, her influences came from French Symbolism, German expressionism, and Russian futurism.The poem is used word by word as voice-over in the film.

It all starts with a woman – our heroine – receiving a letter with a devastating message. Her world collapses and she has to challenge her fears and weaknesses to find a way back to life – her own and true life.

We follow our heroine as she meets and rejects her working self and dives deep into the ocean to find a secret passage to her soul.

In the final scene we see our heroine in a bathtube situated at a cliff with a breathtaking view of the valley below. She is back to life and where she wants to
