Description
We changed the focus of Acers brand from a cold technology company to telling human stories of how their technology can help people discover new passions. This time this was a light, fluffy cupcake.
Execution
Hollywood actor and all-round tough guy Kiefer Sutherland was chosen for his bad boy image, intensity and determination, but in the spot, we see he has another side. A sweet, fluffy, cupcake side.
But Kiefer being Kiefer, hasn’t donned a frilly apron and got out the icing bag, he’s baking cupcakes as you’ve never seen them baked before with flamethrowers, industrial whisks and crucially, a lot of dynamite.
The manufacturer revealed that the Sutherland marketing campaign will be the first of several to feature top celebrities using the laptop to indulge in unorthodox hobbies.
