Aware that it’s hard to win the deposit, Caja MadridCHALLENGES THE COMPETITION BANKS TO WIN THEM IN ANOTHER FIELDThus, we organized a FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT and invited football teams from other banks. The football tournament was called as the deposit:BARRILETE CÓSMICOIn honor of Maradona’s best goal in history, scoring against England in the Mexico World Cup, 1986.
The campaign includes:- TV spot starring David Vidal, famous 1st division coach, trying to prepare Caja Madrid’s team; - Web to sign up for the real tournament and find information on the deposit; - Advergaming to score a Barrilete Cosmico;- Tournament: Final matches were played at the Golf Club Green Canal;- Prints placed in offices, bus shelters, outdoors, banners, leaflets, ATM screens...- Mailing to employees of a double sided t-shirt to join the team;- Mailing to clients of real Pogs game.
Outcome
• 97,000 new paychecks were won (161% of objective), 16,000 from new clients.• Web visits: 40,870• Players: 3,067• 33% of the users who entered the web, played again.• We won the Ondas Award for the Best Radio Campaign in 2008.
