When Barcelona City Council asked us to create a campaign to make the new mayor, Jordi Hereu, better known we decided not to create a campaign at all.
We thought we should create a tool so that the entire city could speak out, not just online, but in the streets. Because cities are conversations and technology can make those conversations richer.A blog on the Web and in the streets:1. Online, the mayor and citizens’ daily posts are published and debated.2. Outside, 5 teams visit Barcelona’s different neighbourhoods, each carrying a backpack with a laptop and a webcam to film the opinions of people in the streets and post them on the blog.
