According to a University of Oxford study, an increase number of children in lockdown are struggling with mental health, suffering from stress, unhappiness and worried about the future.

So to bring a little hope to their bedsides, we decided to write them a bedtime story in aid of children’s charity Barnardo’s.

“There’s a place where there’s no pandemic” is a bedtime story created and distributed to children all over the UK and other countries. It turns ordinary situations from a pre-pandemic world into extraordinary moments through beautifully hand drawn illustrations.

A simple book using black and white illustrations, capable of creating an elegant balance between the seriousness of the pandemic and the happy and hopeful scenarios that kids need to imagine when they go to bed, instead of the worries they are constantly facing.

All proceeds were to help Barnardo’s (believe in children) and their work with vulnerable children..

The book has been distributed in more than 15 countries
