Background

Bees work every day to maintain the biodiversity of the planet, and today more than ever they are tired and have a great nutritional deficit due to the scarcity of pollen.

So, we gave them what they needed: a food supplement and rest. All this through brewer's yeast, which scientific studies have proven to be a great source of food for bees.

We opened the first chain of mini bars for bees, a replica of our Tamango bars but on a bee scale, made with our beer yeast and environmentally friendly materials. Where bees can feed, rest, and enjoy an open brewer's yeast bar after a long day of work.

We opened 55 bars throughout Chile, strategically located along the bees' flight paths, so they always have a stop to refuel.

Idea

With Tamango Brewery, we created the first chain of mini bars for bees. These minibars are an exact replica of our Tamango Bars, but on a bee scale and made of our brewer's yeast and environmentally friendly materials, where bees can feed, rest, and enjoy an open bar of beer yeast after a long day of work.

Being made from the yeast of our beer, these mini bars are not only a place where bees can share with their friends and relax, but they also provide the bees with a higher nutrient load, decompressing the feeding stress so that after a break, they can continue working and not die trying.

Strategy

Men and women who are over 18 years old and live in Chile.

They are craft beer lovers, and they see it as a reward after working or doing any activity that requires effort. This target also has a great interest in the environment and its care, they are aware of the importance of the role of bees in this issue, so they are concerned about the welfare of this species.

Bees are dedicated every day to maintaining the biodiversity of the planet, but at the same time, they are tired and long for a minute of rest. Their main concern is not getting all the food they need to survive the winter, so they spend much of their time stressed and many die at an early age due to the long distances they must travel to find pollen.

Execution

We installed 55 Beer Bars around Chile, which together with beekeepers and scientists specialized in the behavior of bees, we strategically located them in areas where bees fly so that they can always stop and recharge their energy.

The impact caused by the Beer Bars was so great that today we are opening new franchises in new parts of Chile and the world, in order to continue giving the bees the well-deserved rest they deserve.

Outcome

Today, thanks to the Beer Bars, Tamango has transformed the craft beer industry into a nutritional source that contributes to the preservation of bees, which can be implemented worldwide. This has had a positive impact on the life of the bees and the planet, since more than 10 thousand bees visit us every day to feed and rest and had a positive impact on the brand. To date we have more than 300 thousand organic reproductions of the launch video, which was first hosted on the brand's Instagram, this translated into doubling sales 4 days after the launch. We reached more than 120 thousand accounts in one week organically. Visits to our e-commerce increased by 400% and there was an investment of more than 300 thousand dollars in free media.
