A same-sex couple in an abusive relationship is juxtaposed with social-media comments from friends celebrating their seemingly picture-perfect relationship to show viewers that real life happens behind the post. Throughout the film we travel between rooms as if the camera were following the destructive path of a couple’s fight, as we hear muffled yelling and loud, violent sound effects in the background. The camera finally finds the couple screaming at one another. One of them storms out of the house, leaving his partner devastated as we reveal what their friends had been commenting on all along: A loving photo, posted to social media, moments before the fight.
