Description
To remind consumers of Ben & Jerry's heritage, and reinforce their message of “Peace, love and ice cream”, whilst also featuring a range of products.
Execution
As well as producing work that stylistically looked as though it had its roots in the hippy revolution (which is where the brand came from in the first place), we also wanted to give even the ads a very 'home made' look, which we felt was in keeping with the product. We even wanted to use colours, textures and shapes that looked and felt like ice cream! The headlines also echoed the 'love' generation - with everything from hippy references to psychedelic poetry, creating the feeling of an ice cream 'trip'.
