The challenge was to make a big splash for a niche product, a retro-style 1950s power drill, with a 1950s budget to match. We answered the challenge by conceiving the idea that raised the visibility of the very small campaign to new heights – more than doubling the media value, and quadrupling the impact, by bringing original 1950s advertising back to the future.
