The BMW Technology Experiences were designed to showcase and demonstrate BMW's expansive list of innovative technologies within the fame set at bmwusa.com. Above all, we want users to understand that BMWs are not only technologically advanced vehicles, but that the technology adds to the enjoyment and peace of mind of owning and driving a BMW. Each experience uses a two-part interface with partitioned and layered information. One part illustrates the technical side of BMW engineering while the other demonstrates the on-the-road benefit of the technology - how it directly contributes to the BMW driving experience. Each component also includes options for further exploration. We used MacromediaFlash 4 to create detailed, fast-loading animations that help explain the inner-workings and effects of BMW technology. We used Apple QuickTime videos to demonstrate the technology in action.
