Background
Situation:
Our client BRLO is a Berlin based Craft Beer Brewery. Like the inhabitants of Berlin, BRLO is free-spirited and a bit anarchical.
Brief:
The brief was to develope a promo idea which conveys the BRLO spirit.
Objectives:
There is only one place in Berlin, where you can’t drink BRLO: The boarding area in Berlin Tegel. As you can't go through airport security with liquids in containers larger than 100ml, BRLO fans can't take their favorite beer with them. That’s what we wanted to change.
Execution
We announced Boarding Beer on our Instagram page.
To get it, our fans just had to send us their boarding pass. We printed it on transparent labels and put those on the bottle.
Each bottle was individually handfilled and sealed. We packed the bottles in transparent and re-sealable plastic bags as required by airport security restrictions.
A bike courier delivered the Boarding Beer to them right before take-off.
