Since the film is an homage to the first Bond episodes, we sought to enhance the 60s movie styling by all means. To achieve the desired effect the cameraman used techniques typical of movies of that time: zooms, fluid camera movements and extreme close-up shots created a totally Bondlike feel, immersing the viewers into the atmosphere of an endless adventure back when all villains were dramatic and all heroes wore tailor-made tuxedos. The lightning setup was made with the idea of ‘Doctor No’, 1962, recreating dramatic shadows and expressive pattern of chiaroscuro.
