Execution

Solution:Using augmented reality technology, we illustrated how Wordsworth Books bring a story to life. After entering a partnership with the iMac store in the mall, we handed out flyers to consumers, which were “torn out pages” from Wordsworth books, that when held up to the iMacs’ webcams became animated, 3-Dimensional depictions of the written word.People who have ever read a book know that the story comes to life in your head. So, we brought the words to life, like they've never seen before, marrying a page out of a book with a 3D depiction of the story. Then, by having the promotion in the mall, with a strategic partner opposite our client's store, we were able to inspire consumers to go to our client's bookstore and not our competitor's.

Outcome

Results:Consumers loved how the page came to life and thought it was in line with the quirky image that the chain is known for. Our client, Wordsworth Books reported increased traffic in their store for the duration of the promotion.
