Execution

We built a mobile-first, responsive Website to introduce the BOOMco brand to these active, digitally savvy boys and show them a whole new way to play. Since the cool factor is at the heart of the BOOM-co.com experience—its design was inspired by skateboard culture—the site features a simple and intuitive interface that engages kids through high-energy videos, fun Flash games and other useful content to capture the experience of playing with the new-and-improved blasting toy. Ultimately, the content was designed to drive boys outside to play with their blasters.

Outcome

BOOM-co.com is now an immersive, responsive, multi-platform site that demonstrates the blaster’s key features and gets boys hooked on a new way to play. With its high-energy videos and engaging content, the site is a spectacular showcase for the brand and it gives boys an unforgettable experience that is a blast online as well as offline. As of 3 months after launch:

• Average Time Spent on Site: Globally: 3:33 minutes. U.S.: 4:13 minutes

• Average Time Spent Playing Games: 6-7 minutes

• 71% of all U.S. traffic watched at least 1 video

• The mobile site received up to 42% of traffic in some markets
