Description
A daily pad calendar, the Japanese traditional calendar, requires you to tear off a leaf everyday. Each leaf bears the date, a proverb and a fortune-telling, hence is a useful calendar for Japanese people. Ever since the period of the Samurai, the Japanese people have always loved a box lunch consisting of assorted small rice balls and various side dishes. Despite its fixed menu, however, new box lunch, called Makuoh, changes its side dishes everyday. Simple but intuitive, you can see today's menu as you tear a leaf off. The website also offers a downloadable calendar bearing Makuoh menus.
