Background

Brave! Factory is a Ukrainian festival of electronic music and arts which takes place at the abandoned factory. Brave’s unique line-up unites musicians, artists and music lovers from all over the world. Last year Brave! felt like a niche rave festival, but this year the guys had so much more to offer. That’s why they wanted to reach more diverse and numbered audience but still be relatable to their old friends.

Idea

For two days and nights the abandoned factory turns into one pumping organism. That’s where we got the core idea for the branding: lifeless factory comes back to life.

Execution

To make the revival thing tangible we filled our branding with life, energy and vibrancy. We started with using vivid colors and mixing several typefaces to achieve irregular and non-mechanic look. Then we pushed it further and translated the main idea literally. We turned some common factory objects into unique animated characters. They represent the festival visitors who with their presence animate every part of the factory and become the factory parts themselves.

Outcome

This year Brave! Factory was attended by 42% more people than last year. The festival got 220% more Instagram followers in 3 months. Facebook followers increased by 48%.
