USE OF VIDEO/INTERACTIVE VIDEO:
360º interactive film introduces the official World Cup ball on the adidas Youtube channel allowing the viewer to interact and become the brazuca. Viewers can watch the film in any direction as they are kicked, dribbled and passed by the greatest footballers on the planet. Additional films embedded in the film continue the brazuca journey to the World Cup.
USE OF MUSIC / SOUND DESIGN:
One of the key components of the film was the use of binaural sound, which changed depending on which direction the viewer is looking.
Outcome
1 billion global media impressions.
The average visitor garnered 10.1 interactions per session which is 5 times the industry standard.
Sold out balls and massive global media coverage.
Oh, and one bad ass ball.
(and a few broken lenses and broken feet during the testing process).
