Today´s the day. Jake, the protagonist, is set to sell his small, independent record label to one of the majors. In exchange for a bumper pay day and a secure future on the company payroll, he´s handing over the reins of his fulfilling but financially precarious existence as a free spirit. Or he could choose to stay open... As we follow him throughout the day, Jake takes any and every opportunity to delay the decision. And in doing so, we get to see the cool and interesting places where Staying Open takes him.
