Description

For the launch of the first map pack for Call of Duty: BlackOps, we told the classic story of East versus West, of people divided by politics, but united by their love of play, flamethrowers, and singing duets. This film is set to the classic ballad: “Wind of Change”, which was originally written to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall. The song creates the perfect melodic exchange between opposing soldiers, with “gun-tar” solos and hair metal music video vernacular. Quickly reaching more than a million views, this film appealed to gamers and non-gamers through a timeless, emotionally charged story.
