Our objective was twofold. One, to shift people's preconceivednotions of the Carnival brand. But, ultimately, we wanted to bring 2000+people together to recreate the feeling of collective fun that happens onboard a Carnival cruise.On October 26, 2008, we invited the people of Dallas,Texas to watch us set a Guinness World Record for the world's largest beach ball. We then filed three balls with a helium mixture to make them buoyant, and surprised the crowd by rolling them off the top of parking structures. We then filmed the crowd as they worked together to bounce them balls up and down the street.
