Background
2020 was a year where the live-streaming’s consumption grew like any other year due to the COVID pandemic.
People around the world locked down in their homes looking for different ways of entertainment through live-streaming platforms, the perfect vehicle to catch attention.
With this in mind, Corona took it as an opportunity for the brand.
Take advantage of the locked down to open up for the first time the doors of what is behind our product, our process, our ingredients and the people that work for CORONA. Something that was never shown before.
We tried that this message became something relevant for consumers and something that they desire to know, so through beautiful crafted capsules we presented them what’s behind the most fine beer in an entertaining and fun way.
Convert our unique shine in an entertaining content that contributed to the brand’s key message of superior quality.
Idea
Open the doors of Corona's brewery to show the 100 years' guarded process of how it shine is made by a series of livestreams.
Strategy
Establish Corona's unique shine as a one of a kind attribute of quality, not only for the brand but also for the beer category in Mexico, showing consumers what's behind the brand and building a meaningful and different brand positioning.
Execution
We made a series livestreams through 5 days to reveal all of creation process of our Corona beer. We presented different influencers through each livestream for them to guide our viewers through each tasting.
