OVERVIEW

Description

Bantrab, the only bank in the country created to help workers prosper created Chamba, a project that transformed outdoor advertising spaces usually reserved for big companies into personalized small billboards and storefronts for local small businesspeople and street vendors.

Execution

The custom-made ads where co-created by the workers they advertised including their personal names, they were installed in and around the places where they plied their trade, transforming them into larger-scale professional enterprises. During the period of 8/9/2016 to 9/8/2016, the bank bought six standard size billboards and we assigned each billboard to a different worker that could use the space as their own retail space.

Outcome

During the campaign small street business sales increased by %92 and they also increased by %63 at the long term.
