Description
Hungarian Telekom is one of the biggest financial sponsors of the country's Olympic Team. We wanted more: to position Hungarian Telekom as the biggest emotional sponsor.
During the games people's heart beat for their team.
We wanted to show that it is physically possible to feel these heartbeats even from a distance of 1500 kilometers.
Execution
By providing people an opportunity to physically express their strong support towards their athletes, we were able to create a strong emotional connection with the brand and truly express the Life is for Sharing brand idea of Telekom.
Outcome
People became proud and dedicated sponsors of the project as heartbeat sending spread like a wildfire. We transmitted 28 000 heartbeats in a few weeks, which is like a stadium full of people all cheering for the Hungarian Olympic team. We also brought people closer to the athletes, creating a connection between fans and athletes that never existed before.
